Golden willow is a tall tree which can grow to 30m. Year old twigs are its most distinguishing characteristic as are bright yellow or orange making them very conspicuous in winter. Thrives in wet conditions and variety of soil types, full sun or part shade. The strong flexible rods are excellent for basketry. Ideal for hedges or to enhance winter landscape.
